29 September - A total of 330 participants participated in the 'UMP Library Fun Run 2019' organize by UMP Library in Universiti Malaysia Pahang, Pekan today. The five (5) kilometer Library Fun Run is the finale event for the UMP LIbrary Carnival week which started on the 25th of September 2019. UMP Acting Chief Librarian, En. Dzull Zabarrod Ahmad flag off the participant at 7.30am at the UMP Library, Pekan.

Program Director, En. Muhammad Fawwaz Rasid says that the participants consists of UMP students and local communities and its objective is to encourage students and the communities to adopt a healthy and productive lifestyle. Organizing such events can improve our health and build strong connection between the UMP and the local communities..
