PEKAN, 6 November 2025 – The Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) Library welcomed a delegation from the Royal Terengganu Institute for Historical and Legal Studies (R-TIHiLS) on an official visit aimed at fostering collaboration in archival and heritage management.

The delegation, led by Chief Executive Officer Dato’ Haji Mohd Yusof Abdullah, comprised Research Officers Rafiuddin Afiq Rujunaidi and Muhammad Khairul Fadzli Khairu. They were received by Chief Librarian, Hajah Kamariah Gono together with officers from the University Archives.

During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the roles, initiatives, and services of the UMPSA Library and the University Archives.

The session also featured an engaging discussion on potential strategic collaborations, knowledge sharing, and exchange of best practices between both institutions.

The guests were later taken on a tour of the Pahang Civilization Corner, which houses the exclusive Nadir Collection, followed by a walkthrough of the facilities and amenities at the UMPSA Pekan Library.

The courtesy visit concluded with an exchange of souvenirs between the two institutions.
