Pekan, 8 December 2021 – The Education & Research Section held a Google Meet user education class for new students on Library Introduction & Library Online Catalogue (eFind) module. The one-hour session was participated by 42 students from various faculties and programmes. The speaker for this session is Encik Muhammad Hanafiah Bin Abd Aziz.

It aims to introduce the library facilities and its services to the new students. The library collection on printed books, e-book, journals and other collections were also shown during the webinar. In addition, Mr. Hanafiah also guides the students on how to search for materials using the website catalogue.

This session is intended to provide the new students an early exposure on the library services and facilities mainly to assist their learning process throughout their time at UMP. Before concluding the session with a photography session, the speaker informed and invited all students to join Library Customer Day on December 15, 2021.
