The Universiti Malaysia Pahang Library has received a book donation from Datuk Dr Sheikh Ghazali Sheikh Abod of 400 copies. The donation book handover ceremony took place at his house in Cyberjaya. Most of the books donated are related to business and Islamic studies.

Datuk Dr Sheikh Ghazali previously served as the Chief Operating Officer, Center for Entrepreneurship Development and Research (CEDAR) a subsidiary of SME Bank. He is also a former lecturer who has written extensively on Islamic finance. Among his books are "An Introduction to Islamic Finance", "Islamic Business Management", "An Islamic Perspective of The Stock Market: An Introduction" and "An Introduction to Islamic Economic & Finance".

He owns a personal library that has more than 4,000 copies of books related to social sciences, business and Islam. His Library materials are processed and cataloged according to Library standards which uses the Library system to facilitate material search.
